FRIDAY 1st December – Monthly Trade Fair!

Time to find some extra diamonds! This Friday, our favourite traders arrive with some new goodies. The traders will be selling a variety of items, and heads for everyone to purchase. They shall arrive on Friday, and shall be here until Sunday 3rd December. Currency will be diamonds. Due to in game rules, only Member and above will be able to visit the Shopping District. If you are not a member, you still have time to rank up!

FRIDAY 1st December – 5pm UTC – Silent Auction Ends!

Our monthly silent auction ends this Friday! Make sure you get your bids in before Friday at 5pm UTC. When players get banned or go inactive with the community, we shulker box up their items, and keep it securely locked away! This is now your chance to grab their forbidden goodies at the Silent Auction. This is a Member, and above event due to the value of the items in the shulkers. Happy bidding everyone!

FRIDAY 1st December – 7pm UTC – Christmas Village Opens!

Are you Christmas ready? Is your tree up already? But, first off we need to have some Christmas fun of our very own. Our Christmas Village shall be opening its doors on Friday 1st December at 7pm UTC!

SATURDAY 2nd December – 11am UTC – Snow Storm!

Trader Teddy was caught up in a snow blizzard whilst traveling home to his family! He had spent the weekend selling his famous oranges in Aramoor. The winds were fierce, and the temperature was icy cold. During the crazy storm, Teddy tried his best to see where he was going. But due to poor vision, Teddy crashed his boat into an unexpected ice spike biome! This sent all of his oranges flying all over the frozen island. No one has heard from Teddy since, and his family are really worried about him. We have prepared a crew, and shall arrive at the island on Sunday! As a reward for your help, Teddy is willing to swap his lost oranges for rewards. Will you help us find Teddy, and collect his oranges?

SATURDAY 2nd December – 7pm UTC – Elf Recruitment Day!

Santa is a little short on elves this year, and is looking for 3 new elves to join his team! You must be quick, intelligent, and technologically advanced. To find the new elves, Santa is hosting a recruitment day. Everyone is welcome to apply for the position. If offered the job, you will be rewarded greatly! During the recruitment day, you will be given a list of toys which Santa needs you to craft. The first 3 players to craft this list of toys shall be given the job!

SUNDAY 3rd December – 7pm UTC – Lumber Crisis!

Looks like Santa didn’t learn from last year, and has once again run out of wood! He really needs the wood to keep his elves warm. The temperature recently has been -16 °C. Some elves are smaller than others, and this kind of temperature can make them freeze to death. This is why this is a Lumber Crisis! There is only a few logs left to keep the fires going. The 3 players who collect the most wood, shall be rewarded for saving the elves! Can you help Santa?

By increasing this number of players, means spreading out the server resources more. We constantly have a TPS of 20, which is fantastic. Having 20 TPS means that you get ZERO lag! These extra player slots shall be monitored, and in the event we feel that the additional players is causing any lag, then we shall adjust accordingly. Our most important goal, is to ensure a lag free experience for everyone who joins! This is something we pride ourselves on.

TogetherCraft is currently in 6th place on the Official Minecraft server list, so this means that we shall see an increase in Newcomers, and new friends. We shall be taking the application process even more seriously than ever, as we still value quality over quantity.

I would like to thank you all for your continued love, support, and friendship! It is YOU that makes TogetherCraft so awesome. You can’t replicate community! So, thank you for making TogetherCraft your Minecraft home.

What happens now?

On Monday 3rd July at 10am UTC the network will go into maintenance mode, until estimated Thursday 6th July 7pm UTC. We shall keep you updated along the way! This time we shall be updating not only the survival server, but the lobby, hardcore and creative world too!

Why can’t we play straight away?

When we update to 1.20, we will need to update all of the plugins and ensure that there are no bugs or glitches. You have to remember, that our world isn’t a “super vanilla” world. The last thing we want is double barrels, and players 6 row ender chests to be empty! This time will also enable us to prepare the exciting extras we have planned for 1.20.

Will the world be reset?

NO. NO NO. If I could put a gif here I would. The world, and everything you have created shall be just as you left it. We are not resetting our world. We love this world, and all the fantastic things we have built together. Any old chunks which haven’t been explored will be updated to 1.20. Many of you may know this process as “trimming”. We shall trim the unused chunks within the world, and update them to 1.20. We can keep our awesome builds, our homes, our loot, and still have the awesome fun that 1.20 shall bring!

Why will the update take so long?

Our Survival world is huge! In fact, it is 300gb huge. This usually take me 10 – 12 hours to download, before I can actually start trimming the world. In addition, we need to update all of the servers, plugins, and include some new additions.

What will I do with my spare time?

I know it sucks being away from TogetherCraft! And, I guess I might miss you for a few days…. This maintenance, and update time will give you the chance to say hello to your friends, and family. Watch some films, and take time for yourself! So relax, and rest well to have sleepless nights exploring the new Cherry Blossom biome! Below is a list of things you can do whilst you wait for us to update everything:

• Watch all Lord of the Rings films
• Watch all of Harry Potter
• Binge watch a TV series
• Learn to cook lasagne

SATURDAY 27th May – 11am UTC – Peculiar Polo!
Join us this Saturday for a game of Polo, but with a twist! We have the horses, equipment, but are just missing a ball. Luckily on my drive to work this morning, I found a stray cat which we can use as a ball. Whilst riding horses, and only 30 minutes…. hit the “ball” into the other teams net. The team with the most points at the end of the game.. wins!

SATURDAY 27th May – 7pm UTC – Casting Out Carl!
Carl Fredricksen is being placed into an assisted living facility, and his house shall be demolished after the court ruled that he is a local menace. Therefore, the construction company is looking for new workers to ensure that the house is removed as quick as possible. This is an extremely sad time, as Carl had many fond memories with his wife Ellie in this home……. However, it’s no time to be catching feelings as we got work to do! The 3 players who remove the home the fastest shall be given a bonus for working efficiently.

SUNDAY 28th May – 7pm UTC – Miners Mayhem!
Looks like jimmy didn’t fall into a well, but has fallen into a giant cave system instead! First his father went looking, then his mother, and now his siblings. There appears to be 10 of them stuck inside of the caves! Everyone is gathering together to help save this family. Are we able to find them all before the tunnels collapse?

FRIDAY 19th May – 9pm UTC – Movie Night!
Join us this Friday at 9pm UTC for Movie Night! We have a choice of films above, which you can still vote on. The top voted film, shall be the film which we shall all watch. Bring popcorn, drinks, and friends!

SATURDAY 20th May – 11am UTC – Animal Crossing!
A group of magical woodland creatures have become trapped, and they need our help to get home safely! The crossing has become more dangerous, and even includes lava. Will your trusty pig be turned into bacon? Or will you get it home safely? Using a lead, you must lead 1 animal through a maze to the other side!

SATURDAY 20th May – 7pm UTC – Disney Quiz!
Are you the biggest Disney geek in the community? Time to test your Disney knowledge in our Quiz Tower! Do you know the names of the 7 dwarves in Snow White? What did Alice fall into to find wonderland? How many wishes does the Genie grant? Time to brush up on your Disney knowledge before our Disney Quiz! We shall be offering the first 3 winners a magical prize.

SUNDAY 21st May – 7pm UTC – Protect the Pride!
Mufasa, Simba, and Nala are in trouble! They were sunbathing on Pride Rock whilst the other lions are out collecting dinner. A group of wild animals have been really angry about decisions which have been made recently, and are trying to remove them from Pride Rock! There is too many, and Mufasa is asking for help to keep his home safe! We cannot ignore his call, and shall make our way to pride rock on Sunday. Will you join us to help protect the pride?

SATURDAY 13th May – 11am UTC – Shear Panic!
Farmer Sampson is in trouble.. again! After a very successful lambing season, farmer Sampson has been left with hundreds of sheep, and no one to help them shear them. They needs your help! The more wool you collect, the more points you gain. Farmer Sampson knows that the orange sheep can be a little tricky to shear, so they are willing to give more points to the person who collects their wool. Are you the fastest sheep shearer in TogetherCraft? You´ll need to be, to win this challenge!

SATURDAY 13th May – 7pm UTC – Prison Break!
The notorious Fenris8 has escaped from his cell, and is freeing the other prisoners in the Iron Heights Maximum Security Prison! It is our mission to stop him, and the other inmates from escaping. We can’t let them cause havoc in the City district! Fenris has been planning this escape for months, so has placed items around the prison to help with the escape attempt. We shall have 2 teams! Prisoners, and Guards. It is the prisoners goal to escape the prison, and the guards job to not let them escape! You will have 20 minutes to escape. One prisoner must escape the prison to win! If no one escapes, then the guards win.

SUNDAY 14th May – 7pm UTC – Ravager Run!
This Sunday 14th May is Ravager Runs…. 2nd Birthday! To celebrate the death of so many who have entered, we shall be giving a big reward for everyone who makes it through in one piece. Can you make it through the underground maze to the finish? Will you be able to hide from Benny the Ravager, and his family below? Run, jump and sprint like your life depends on it (because it does) to find the exit! No food, no weapons, no potions, no tools. Enter naked, and come out a Hero! As it’s a birthday, there shall be cake!

SATURDAY 6th May – 11am UTC – Levers Leavers!
You were scrolling through your social media feed this morning, and saw an advert looking for contestants for a new game show called Leavers Levers! You weren’t interested in the game show itself, but the MEGA Jackpot! You have never watched this new game show before, but thought it couldn’t be that hard to play. All the advert description said was that you had to find a lever to escape! How hard can it be to find the correct lever?

SATURDAY 6th May – 7pm UTC – Balloon Brawl!
Due to the recent spike of gold theft in Wideridge, the local Sheriff made the decision to stop transporting their gold shipments by horse, and cart. Instead, he suggested that they use hot air balloons to transport the gold safely. This was working perfectly for weeks, until the 4 groups of local bandits decided to create their own hot air balloons to steal the gold. The thought of sharing the gold with other bandits has caused a massive balloon brawl! Each group of bandits wants all the gold for themselves. These local bandits must now try, and steal all the gold for themselves. If your team loses all of its gold… your team is out! The team who are the last to lose all their gold shall be the winners.

SUNDAY 7th May – 7pm UTC – Hide & Seek!
Join us this Sunday for a game of Hide and Seek! Of course there is a little twist. If you are found… you are killed! You will have 5 minutes to hide, before you are hunted by the staff team. You shall then have 20 minutes to survive! If all players are found before the 20 minutes, then the staff team wins!

SATURDAY 29th April – 11am UTC – Turtle Territory!
Turtle Beach Sanctuary has the largest collection of rarest glowing sea turtles in the world! This sanctuary has been a safe space to hundreds of turtles over the years. The value of some of the turtles is now in the thousands of diamonds. The sanctuary has been protecting these rare turtles for years, but have been informed that a gang of poachers plan to kidnap the turtles this Saturday! The sanctuary is looking for courageous players to help protect the turtles. Can you help?

SATURDAY 29th April – 7pm UTC – Battle Ships!
The Equinox is the fastest airship in the TogetherCraft world! It can reach an incredible speed of 120 knots, and has been owned by the Rockit family for years. This valuable ship has always been a target for pirates, who want to claim the airship as their own. Rockits highly trained guards are responsible for protecting the ship, and those on board. The Head of the Royal Guards has heard whispers that there is a plan to attack the airship this Saturday! These pirates are ruthless, and will kill anyone in their way to take control of the ship. The Royal Guards are preparing for a battle, as they see this as an opportunity to defeat these dastardly pirates once and for all. Will you be Rockits Royal Guard or a ruthless Pirate? The choice is yours!

SUNDAY 30th April – 7pm UTC – Villager Rescue!
Word has spread of an evil, outlandish group of bandits who are capturing local villagers and using them to dig out the dripstone caves in search of diamonds. Being surrounded by viscous, mean, and smelly bandits is making it extremely impossible for them to escape. This wont be no easy task, as the villagers seem to be trapped inside of cages hanging from the ceiling. Can you rescue the villagers, and bring them back to safety? The local towns are willing to reward you for their safe return.
