This is the news you have all been waiting for… 1.18.1 is officially coming to TogetherCraft! The wait is finally over, and we can now prepare to update to 1.18. As well as all the new exciting caves, mountains and height changes, we also have some very exciting changes we shall be making ourselves! I would like to thank everyone for their patience. Just like you, I am excited to explore the new caves together.

What happens now?
On Monday 10th January 11am UTC the server will go into maintenance mode, until estimated Wednesday 12th January 7pm UTC. We shall keep you updated along the way.

Why can’t we play straight away?
When we update to 1.18, we will need to update all of the plugins and ensure that there are no bugs or glitches. You have to remember, that our world isn’t a “super vanilla” world. The last thing we want is double barrels, and players 6 row ender chests to be empty! This time will also enable us to prepare the exciting extras we have planned for 1.18. 👀

Will the world be reset?
NO. We are not resetting our world. We love this world, and all the fantastic things we have built together. We shall have the new 1.18 chunks right under our feet, and any old chunks which haven’t been explored will be updated to 1.18. Many of you may know this process as “trimming”. We shall trim the unused chunks within the world, and update them to 1.18. We can keep our awesome builds, our homes, our loot, and still have the maximum fun of 1.18.

What will I do with my spare time?
This maintenance, and update time will give you the chance to say hello to your friends, and family. Watch some films, and take time for yourself. So relax, and get ready to go exploring even deeper together!
