We all know the struggle. You have Mending on your equipment, plenty of XP ready to use, and Minecraft still decides for itself which item gets repaired.

Thankfully, those days are over! Our new Better Mending tweak allows you to choose exactly which Mending item you want to repair.

How Does Better Mending Work?

Simply hold the item you want to repair in your hand, then Shift and right click an anvil.

As long as the item has the Mending enchantment, it shall use your available XP to repair the item directly.

There is no need to swap your equipment around, remove your armour, or hope that Minecraft repairs your pickaxe instead of your boots.

Just grab your Mending item, find an anvil, and repair away!
