This is the news you have all been waiting for… 1.19 is officially coming to TogetherCraft! 🥂 The wait is finally over, and we can now prepare to update to 1.19. I know we are all very excited for the Warden, Froglights, and the Mangroves! But, we also have some very exciting features we shall be adding ourselves! I would like to thank everyone for their patience. Just like you, I am very excited for the new biomes, mobs, and blocks!
What happens now?
On Monday 4th July 10am UTC the server will go into maintenance mode, until estimated Wednesday 6th July 7pm UTC. We shall keep you updated along the way! This time we shall be updating not only the survival server, but the lobby, and creative world too!
Why can’t we play straight away?
When we update to 1.19, we will need to update all of the plugins and ensure that there are no bugs or glitches. You have to remember, that our world isn’t a “super vanilla” world. The last thing we want is double barrels, and players 6 row ender chests to be empty! This time will also enable us to prepare the exciting extras we have planned for 1.19. 👀
Will the world be reset?
NO. NO NO. If I could put a gif here I would. We are not resetting our world. We love this world, and all the fantastic things we have built together. We shall have the new 1.19 chunks right under our feet, and any old chunks which haven’t been explored will be updated to 1.19. Many of you may know this process as “trimming”. We shall trim the unused chunks within the world, and update them to 1.19. We can keep our awesome builds, our homes, our loot, and still have the wild fun that 1.19 shall bring.
What will I do with my spare time?
I know it sucks being away from TogetherCraft, and I guess I might miss you for a few days. This maintenance, and update time will give you the chance to say hello to your friends, and family. Watch some films, and take time for yourself. So relax, and get ready to go exploring in the deep dark! Below is a list of things you can do whilst you wait for us to update everything:
